  • The Toronto zoo ticket for an adult (age 13 - 64) costs between 22 and 24 dollars on weekdays, between 25 and 29 dollars on weekends.
  • The Toronto zoo ticket for a senior (age 65+) is priced around 20 dollars.
  • The Toronto zoo ticket for a child (age 3-12) is priced around 17 dollars.
  • The admission is free for child age 2 and under.

When is Toronto zoo's 2023 holiday marketplace?


The Toronto zoo is hosting the 2023 holiday marketplace on the weekend of November 18 and November 19, 2023.

Forty vendors will participate this event. Visitors will be able to purchase gifts, food and drinks.

The holiday marketplace will be held within the Discovery Zone of the park. There is no extra costs for zoo visitors to explore the holiday marketplace.


How to go to the Toronto zoo by bus or by TTC?


There a few options:

  1. 86A Toronto Bus Route
    • Operates to the Zoo from Kennedy Station every day during the summer.
    • Service hours: Approximately 6 am to 8 pm.
    • After Labour Day, 86A Toronto buses operate to the Zoo from Monday to Friday only.
  2. 85 Sheppard East Bus Route
    • Operates to the Zoo from Don Mills Station and Rouge Hill GO Station on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
    • Two options: 85A "Via Toronto Zoo" and 85B "To Toronto Zoo" buses provide direct service to the Zoo from about 7 am to 8 pm.
    • Other 85 Sheppard East buses stop at the Sheppard Avenue/Meadowvale Road intersection, where you can transfer to 86A Toronto buses for a short ride to the Zoo.
  3. 200 Toronto Zoo Bus Route (Seasonal)
    • Seasonal service.
    • Direct route to the Zoo from Rouge Hill GO Station.
    • Currently not available.

  • All TTC bus routes serving the Zoo, Don Mills Station, Kennedy Station, and Rouge Hill GO Station are wheelchair and mobility device accessible for the convenience of all customers.
